  Meats are gross at this store. Old meats & poor cuts. Overall, very expensive for poor quality from every thing from baked goods to produce to meats to expired boxes of literally something every time I shop there. Which is twice a year at best. Little to no quality control on expiry dates for all foods within the store. Don’t stock half the sales. It’s always disappointing and feel like you’ve spent a small fortune for half the quality of other grocery stores. All the positive feedback is from the owners and owners CG employed children. It’s ridiculous, I gave up shopping in Lake Cowichan 6 years ago but every time I get in a pinch, I always regret the money I’ve wasted there.

  They're a bit overpriced and you have to make sure you check the expiry dates on everything you buy

  Could have better prices and you always have to check dates or you will get something bad but they have great return policy.
